Details
Shodo (Japanese Calligraphy): practice hiragana and kanji letters using the calligraphy brush and black ink (sumi). The teacher will think of a beautiful kanji describing your name to practice. The tip of a brush is like the tip of the shinai (bamboo sword); your mind must focus from the sole of your feet to the tip of your equipment.
